Data Deletion Instructions

Overview

BoF Engage ("AIMEE") respects your right to control your personal data. If you have connected your Facebook, Instagram, or other social media account to our platform, you can request deletion of your data at any time.

What Data We Store

When you connect your Meta (Facebook/Instagram) account to BoF Engage, we may store:

  • Your Facebook/Instagram user ID and display name
  • Page information (page ID, page name) for connected pages
  • Ad account identifiers and campaign performance data
  • Lead form submission data retrieved from your ad campaigns
  • Encrypted access tokens for API communication

We do not store your Facebook/Instagram password.

How to Request Data Deletion

Option 1: Self-Service (Recommended)

  1. Log in to your BoF Engage account at bofengage.com
  2. Navigate to Settings
  3. Go to the Social Accounts tab
  4. Click Disconnect next to the Facebook/Instagram account you want to remove
  5. This immediately revokes our access and deletes stored tokens

Option 2: Email Request

Send an email to support@aimilabs.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your BoF Engage account
  • Your Facebook/Instagram user ID (if known)
  • A description of what data you want deleted

We will process your request within 5 business days and send you a confirmation once complete.

Option 3: Via Facebook Settings

You can also remove our app's access directly from Facebook:

  1. Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy > Settings
  2. Click Apps and Websites in the left menu
  3. Find BoF Engage in the list of active apps
  4. Click Remove to revoke all permissions

This revokes our API access immediately. To also delete data already stored in our system, please use Option 1 or 2 above.

What Happens After Deletion

  • All stored access tokens are immediately invalidated and deleted
  • Connected account records (pages, ad accounts) are removed from our database
  • Synced campaign and ad performance data is deleted
  • Lead data that was imported from your ad accounts can be deleted upon request
  • The deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

Data Retention After Disconnection

When you disconnect an account via the platform, access tokens are deleted immediately. Associated campaign data and leads are retained in your tenant's workspace unless you specifically request their deletion. To request complete deletion of all associated data, use the email request option above.
